THE FOUR LEARNING STYLES
ACTIVIST FEEL/DO
- always active, can't keep still. Gut feeling rather than thought. Might always be having a new hobby. Usually open- minded, enthusiastic and thrives on challenges. They get bored easily, and aren't overly concerned with implementation or consolidation.
REFLECTORS FEEL/WATCH
- have a preference for gather data. They don't particularly like a " hands on" approach or reaching a conclusion quickly. They will reflect on what information or experiences they have, assessing hoe they are feeling about it. They are naturally cautious and like to observe than take part.
THEORIST THINK/WATCH
- like to reach conclusions quickly. They have tendency to like things that are neat and tidy and value theories that are well thought out and logical. They feel most comfortable where things " fall into place". Lateral thinking or discussions that do not have a direction do not come easily to them.
PRAGMATIST THINK/DO
- Keen to try out the theories and ideas to see if they work in practice. They are down to earth and would not reflect on the merits of a theory but the practical aspects. They are attracted by what works for them.
